Experienced VCE Art and Studio Art teachers will:
- discuss ways to approach exam questions using the AEV practice exam papers, sample answers, teacher comments and refer to the Examiners report from 2007.
- demonstrate where key knowledge and understandings from Units 3 & 4 are applied
- explore suggested approaches to questions and recommended exam preparation.
A+ students from 2007 will discuss:
- ideas for approaching the theory
- preparation for the actual exam.
- share the secrets of their successful exam techniques

The ‘Wizard of Oz’ Literacy Based Art Project
Primary Art, Literacy & VELS Assessment Professional Learning Program

A visually informative & collaborative workshop for primary teachers. Bring your camera! The exhibition takes in many areas of the curriculum and incorporates life sized figures of a witch riding a bicycle across the ceiling of the art room and a life sized scarecrow. It covers all artistic mediums from drawing through to ceramic castles and wizards and takes you on a journey through literature
Presenters: This is another exciting opportunity to learn from highly imaginative and experienced primary art teacher, Jeanette Jennings. Workshop with colleagues ‘making consistent judgements’ using the VELS, lead by AEV’s Executive Officer, Marian Strong.
