Lake Eppalock – Australian Cultural Drought
30cm x 200cm Digital photograph, Adobe Photoshop
The panorama was taken to capture the damage that has been done to Lake
Eppalock. The lake is 7% full. As can be seen in the image, not much is in
there. The theme was to capture what is happening to our lakes through the
drought and how this has occurred, by man and nature. I compete at a national
level in a Europe Dinghy. I love sailing and the drought has restricted all
lake sailors. Nine shots were taken on a digital Kodak camera, at a 360º sweep,
and were merged with Adobe Photoshop to create my long panoramic view.
