Old French Building
30cm x 40cm Cardboard, foil, PVA, paint, tape
I made a building from cardboard and foil. It was meant to look like the
old French cathedrals or English castles. I built up little blocks of cardboard
as features before I put the foil on. The building was then painted with
black paint and wiped off to highlight the textures and shapes. The main
feature is the stained glass windows, which were scratched out of scraperboard.
My design featured waves, crosses, stars, triangles and line. It turned out
to be a wonderful design.
