Carnival of Insects
My aim for these photos was to show my subject matter of tiny insects in
a way they would not usually be viewed. I used colour 35mm film with extension
tubes behind my standard SLR lens to achieve the close-up view. The repetition
of these five separate images creates a sense of movement and playfulness,
which, together with the bright red colour, creates a carnival-like atmosphere.
