Dance
The rhythm of our lives and our culture uniquely and separately surges throughout
our being, heart and soul. This rhythm cannot be seen in the raw form in
which it is felt, but the art of dance, which dates back before the carnivals
of the sixteenth century offers the spirit a release of self- expression
and an opportunity to visually express this rhythm. Movement, which thrives
on the power and magnificence of the performers feet and legs, can aid as
a means to unite people of varying cultural backgrounds. Dance celebrates
that, which sets us apart and things we have in common. Dance can transform
our lives.
