‘Four Lilies’
Black and white photography.

The still life image consists of four lilies, a pebble and leaf. It was taken against a black velvet background with studio lights. Inspiration for the piece came from other images of lilies viewed in class, shows clarity in the shape and texture of the plants. The shot was taken at aperture 8, shutter speed 15 and developed using normal procedures and printed using filter 3 at aperture 4.5 and exposed for 18 seconds.
