‘Magic Meets Mother Nature’
Coloured papers, sequins, glitter.
I decided to decorate different types of leaves from the garden with shiny paper, sequins, glitter and beads and then put the leaves back into the garden where I found them and take a photograph of each one. Then I decided to stick the magical leaf around the edge of the photograph and put it back in the garden. I wanted the decorated leaves to look magical, as though fairies had decorated the leaves while they were still part of the plant. I used coloured paper, sequins and glitter because they are all pretty and sparkly and colourful and I wanted the decorated leaves to stand out from the normal leaves. When I think of magic I think of glitter and shiny, sparkly things. It was hard choosing what leaves to decorate and I did some that did not work out very well. In the end it had to be the ones that were easy to decorate and the ones that would sit the best when put back on the plant they came from. Most of all I tried to choose the ones that created the most magical effect. I think in the end even though Mother Nature is beautiful, magic can make her more beautiful.
