The idea for this print came from an inspirational photographer, Ansel Adams. His work brings a whole new meaning to the word ‘nature’ because when I look at his work the ordinary appears extraordinary. This is just a common leaf and it surprised me how beautiful it was after a recent rainfall, wedged between the fence and the weeds. Its simple beauty needs no trick photography or colour imaging.
