‘Pink Folds’

My painting is an abstract close up of rose petals. The image has been cropped from a larger digital photo that I took at home of our rose flower. I was interested in the patterns created by the petals and the shades of red and pink that blended on each petal. The result is an abstract soft, flowing tonal image.
