‘Worm’s Eye View of the Ants’
59.5cm x 39cm each panel. Cardboard, coloured inks.

The reason I chose to make my painting how it is, is because it is a worm’s eye view of how grass looks. To us buildings look small and grass looks small, but to a worm, grass looks high and ants are small. It took a long time to finish my painting because I had to mix the colours and get them right. My painting resembles a backyard with the normal things you would find in grass. I like my painting because it’s original. Kate and I worked together because we found we were doing similar images in our paintings and when they were joined together the worm and the ants were looking at each other.
