‘Metallic Spring’
Cardboard, paper, marbling inks, acrylic paint.

I had heaps of ideas at the start but none seemed to work. I got really frustrated with my best picture that I was going to enter. I didn’t think I would finish it in time so I rushed it, which was a big mistake. It looked messy and I couldn’t get it looking right, so I chopped it up, which was also a mistake. I came to school the next day and asked if there was any way to do something with it. My art teacher and I came up with the perfect solution. I did the daffodils because they look really pretty in our backyard. I got the idea off some very close people to me and did a lot at school. I did toadstools because fairies live under them and when I think of magic I think of fairies.
I learnt a lot from this experience but the most important thing I learnt was never to rush!!
