28cm x 28cm. Terra cotta tiles with underglaze.

Our tiles are about the things we like to find in our gardens – like the hot sun, colourful plants, birds, butterflies and worms. We had to build up the picture on our tile with more clay so that bits stood out (in relief) and then we coloured it with underglaze and a final coat of clear gloss.
