‘Sow the Seeds of Imagination’

I got my idea after a visit to Albury Botanic Gardens, where I saw Bird of Paradise plants growing. The image of the flower stayed with me until I could almost see a bird. Having studied the surrealist artists in class the idea came to show these plants magically coming to life. I combined stitching, paint and collage to create this artwork.
