A BARBOUR
Frankston Heights Primary School Year 6

‘New Life’
29cm x 46cm. Fabric dye, paraffin wax, bees wax.

In art we were looking at and studying a form of Indonesian art called Batik. My piece symbolises new life, with the blue and yellow seeds in the middle about to sprout a new flower. I chose to do a flower because I can express my creativity and love of colour. I loved exploring a new type of art from another country.
