Buckets to the Rescue
9.9cm x 15.3cm. Black and white photograph on Ilford gloss paper.
What are these girls doing watering the plant with a bucket? Wouldn't it be easier to use the hose? This picture shows that the drought is affecting everything. Instead of being able to water plants and gardens with a hose, you have to use a bucket so you don't waste extra water. The students have realised the seriousness of the drought. They have to fill the bucket and go around to each plant instead of standing there with a hose. Until people start saving water we're going to be watering our plants with buckets for a while.
