I took the photographs of a girl in grade one, thinking while she was working. The way she worked intrigued me and I wanted to capture her in thought. I took four photographs so I could also see her emotions. For example, frustration when she was stuck on something, and the feeling of accomplishment when she looked down on a good piece of work.
