Feminine (Sublime-Nasturtiums)
20cm x 25cm. Multigrade IV RC deluxe resin coated base.
In this photograph I tried to portray my male model as a feminine figure. I did this by using a background that has a lot of natural depth and texture. I also used strong light on my model's face, chest and head area that made him look pale and soft against this background. However, doing this created a problem as he was now too white and appeared to have no chin. I fixed this by further exposing his face and covering up the rest of the photo, which almost gives him a bearded shadow look. I have decided to call this shot 'Sublime-Nasturtiums' as it has a very peaceful serene feel and the Nasturtium is the flower that fills the background.
