My theme this year was mood, and my aim was to portray an emotion in which viewers could identify with immediately. I chose to take this photograph in the shower because most of my friends said their favourite place to cry was in the shower and it creates a feeling of trying to wash away pain. My model wore dark eye make-up so it would run and show a scene where the subject is a bit out of control, and also emphasise the sinister mood.
