Boab Tree
38cm x 51cm. Paper, dye, pencil and pastels.
Mr Godkin came back from his holiday and brought in a book about trees. He wanted us to do a draft of these trees. Then we did a good copy with pastels. Before we did the draft of the trees we did the land and sky. We used food dye. Then we did the good copy. Our teacher told us that it might look good if the tree looked shadowed. After we did the trees we added the finishing touches. We stuck the artwork on a black piece of cardboard and drew a border.
