30cm x 42cm. Food dye, pastel and metallic paint.
This is of a boy paddling a gondola. He's a gondolier. It's in Venice and they have to paddle to work. The poles are for keeping the boats in place. On the front of the gondola is a mermaid for good luck. My favourite part of the painting is the boy. For the water I used white crayon and blue food dye. It is a very happy picture.
