Horsegoatpig
41cm x 60cm. Food dyes and black marker pen.

The animals in this picture are based on a horse, a goat, a pig and a dog. Our art teacher showed us some aboriginal pictures from Arnhem Land to give us an idea. I have really liked dogs for so long and I wanted to transform it into a horse with a snout like a pig. To make the patterns I used the basics of circles and triangles and they all just fitted together like a puzzle. I used the Aboriginal colours because it was meant to be a bit like an Aboriginal picture with black, red and brown shades of colour.
