Shadow Puppet
41cm x 29cm. Foam core, polystyrene and acrylic paints.
First I sketched the puppet on some paper and then cut out the shape. I traced the outside of the puppet on to the foam core. It was difficult using scissors, but new clippers made it easier. I designed some details and it was ready to be painted. I chose purple, light blue, dark blue and gold. When the puppet was finished, Ms Rubio gave me foam so I could make the arms. I sketched the design on the foam. I had to be careful cutting out the arms because they were made of foam. I painted the arms and when they were dry Ms Rubio helped me glue the puppet and its arms to a piece of coloured cardboard.
