Crying Out

The face of the girl was from a photograph. She was being cradled by her mum in front of a Nepalese Palace. They were begging and passers-by walked straight past without a flinch. The child was crying, hand reaching towards the camera pleading for attention, hoping for understanding. However, air is all she can touch. I want people to see the emotion in the gesture, in the outreaching hand and experience a pang in their hearts.
