Denim jeans, whiteout, photos and glitter.
The piece is meant to capture the essence of being a teenager today. When I look back on these photos I’ll remember everyone sneaking their mobile phone to school, what we wore and what we did at lunchtime. I wanted natural photos so it looked as though every moment was real. I wanted the viewers to feel like they were seeing these images through their own eyes and like everything is still alive. I asked my friends to write what being a teenage meant to them. I chose to use jeans as a background for my photos because they were a symbol of youth. To me they are today what the mini skirt was in the 1960s.
