My work was inspired by Jeannie Baker. Her dedication and hard work in creating the masterpieces that became her children's books drove me to explore this area. Children's stories are not only a great medium for children's education, they are also fantastic for artists to express greater messages and meanings. It gave me immense pleasure and satisfaction to create my book. I have created this book without realising that the lizard is in fact me as I have found my way through my VCE.
