We were each given a canvas then Ms Rubio gave us a selection of colours. I chose orange, light orange and red paint for the ground. It blended in quite well. I also chose purple, light purple and blue paint for the sky. We learned about the horizon line and tone. We also learned about Russell Drydale. He was a man who lived a long time ago and he had a problem with his eye but he could paint great pictures. He used dull colours to make you feel sad and bright colours to make you feel happy. I learned lots of skills from Drysdale's paintings. I created a masterpiece and I feel proud.
