Million Tears
A3. Watercolour, paint, ink and shellac.
I based this on a verse from a song I liked, "My eyes have cried a million tears wishing you were here". It's a kind of a self-portrait. I used running inks and shellac to show the sadness and depression that the girl is going through. It is finished off with a blotchy golden warm shellac which gives it a contemporary feel.
