Hidden places people, open spaces, street crossings and shapes. Through my school elective I was able to discover the radically different Federation Square just over the road from Flinders Street Station and all the back alleys, even in the wealthy parts of the city. Every Monday we explored the city and discovered places we didn't know existed. Before this I thought the city was just a swarming mass of people going to work. Now I've found all kinds of sub-cultures involving architecture from the Gold Rush to modern times. The CBD is truly a diverse place.
