Laughing Man

I did this project using the theme of Picasso. We looked at the 'Weeping Woman' and I decided to do the opposite - a 'Laughing Man'. Instead of a range of sad colours such as black, brown and other ones with no character and life I used many bright colours to give a sense of happiness. At every turn I tried to avoid curves and used lines and edges, this was for emphasis. I used pencil and chalk which I smudged to give a blended effect.
