Sunset Dunes
29.7cm x 21cm. Chalk pastels.
I was attempting to capture a glimpse of the texture and undulating effects of the dunes in the desert scene. I selected colours that I thought would be effective and vibrant. I chose a powerful image to transfer into textures and a well-proportioned view. Using different effects from the chalk pastels really made it eye-catching.
